The lack of safe and affordable housing options in our community has reached a critical point, leaving a growing number of individuals and families without a stable place to call home. This housing crisis is characterized by skyrocketing rental costs, rising eviction, limited affordable housing stock , substandard living conditions, and a rising rate of homelessness. The absence of suitable housing not only threatens the well-being and security of our residents but also perpetuates a cycle of poverty and instability. We believe that access to stable housing is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of a thriving community.
Our coalition is committed to addressing this pressing issue and working collaboratively to develop equitable and sustainable solutions that ensure every member of our community has access to safe, affordable, and dignified housing.
This mission statement emphasizes the coalition’s commitment to addressing homelessness, promoting affordable housing, and fostering a sense of community well-being. It also underscores the importance of collaboration and advocacy in achieving these goals.
